Charleston Banks

Charleston is the capital city of West Virginia, located where the Elk and Kanawha rivers meet. The Governor's Mansion, the West Virginia State Museum, and the theater are all part of a riverfront complex that also houses the gold-domed State Capitol. There are art and science museums, a planetarium, and a music hall at the Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences. A former freight station now serves as home to restaurants in downtown's Capitol Market. It's a capital city with all the charm of a small southern town.
