of of this Auto loan with this company, but I'm responsible for payments . I came down with a cold and was unavailable for work for two weeks due to work protocol. Obviously due to that and no PTO I fell behind on my payment. I called in To apologize and set up arrangements to catch up, and the woman states with an attitude "yes we can do this but understand this loan is new. You have to make sure you're on time with these payments." I was completely thrown off because 1) this is unprofessional as ever, 2) everyone knows life happens and 3) at least I'm calling in to rectify the situation instead of letting it go default and have the car be taken away. I've worked in customer service for years, and I just don't understand the attitude, especially if the caller isn't being rude to you at all. Your job is to tell me what I can and cannot do in regards to any payments, and go on your way not give me attitude over something that happens to every person on a day to day. As much as I wanted to give her the ugly attitude she gave me, I politely ignored her and asked if we could just set up this arrangement so I can be on the road to being back to current (because I'm only 2 weeks late). She then sees the card on file is different from the account holder. I inform her yes, I am the person paying on the account and she rudely stated I need to have the account holder on the phone. We have been on the phone for fifteen minutes at this time, security questions answered, we've gone over the account and NOW you realize you didn't verify who you were speaking with and NOW after being disrespected, I can't even do what I called for because you forgot to verify who I am? At that point I stated I would just call back and ended the call. This place really needs to retrain their people with some kind of humanity. The lack of training as well as The rudeness is just not a good look.
I was helped right away and did a payoff on my auto loan. Was a bit skeptical coming in due to all the bad reviews but everything was smooth and efficient. They said I receive my title to my car in about 3-4 weeks so just waiting on that. If it comes in the expected wait time, would definitely recommend this location.
I used MB as a lender for about 6 months, until I sold my car to Carmax. Everything went fine. I paid on time and although put on hold for a short while, I talked to a human.
with Mechanics Bank for a couple of years now and don't understand why the reviews are with low stars. Everytime I had a concern with my payments (which are my fault not MB) a simple phone call to them solves my issue. I've always been treated with respect and of course I return it.
is a major "up and coming" financial institution that is changing how loan parters are doing business with its customers. I recently financed my new truck through CRB Auto and just two months into the loan, they have granted me forgiveness of my next two payments in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. This means I can skip April and May payments without penalty and those payments will simply be tacked on the end of the loan. Even better, they called me and asked if this program would be helpful, I didn't even need to ask! Solid!
are from people that are in unfortunate circumstances, and CRB is just doing their job by trying to collect their money from. LOAN that was voluntarily signed up for from the buyer. My experience was great! Website process was convenient, and when I went to payoff my car loan with a large check, it was no issues at all! Customer service rep was very kind over the phone, and I would highly recommend this company for auto loan needs as their rates and service are top notch!
Mechanics Bank is great. They provide great customer service, either in the branch or on the phone. I have a free checking account which covers any charges at other banks' ATMs and checks (which are occasionally needed) are free. I recently needed to order a new batch of checks. I couldn't find the check reorder form, but one call to Mechanics took care of what I needed. I left Wells Fargo 10 years ago and have never looked back. Mechanics provides the stability of a big bank but all the service of a small town, local business.
