and are not reflective of the bank now they have many locations. staff is always nice

and usually easy to get prompt help. They appear to be competitive on their loan rates.

and friendly service from all the staff at this bank..I have a saving for the first time in my life with them..I will happyly stay with this bank.

I came to them yesterday with a fine-print issue from an old account. Lea investigated the problem quickly and efficiently. She handled the problem and made it right even though she had no legal requirement to do so. In an age of insincere "sorry, there's nothing we can do", giving good and fair service is a fresh change and is a quality I will always look for in a bank. Well done first interstate. Keep it up.

Every now and then I encountered a problem - like fee this and that, but the Customer relation took care of it for me. I have lost count how many times I lost my debit card and they never charged me for replacement. (Though there might be a charge for that now). There is no fee for using PIN with the debit card - which I thought wasnt really a big deal, but when I found out other banks actually charge fee for doing so , I am happy that my bank does not. They also have online banking, their online banking sometimes goof around though. Several times we saw big balance in our account - especially at night, but it didnt show where it from on the detail, then the next morning it's disappeared. I like how I can order CD by online banking, have the paperworks mailed to me so I can sign them and mail them back without having to go to the branch. I always go to the 19th branch, the people there are really nice and respectful.

I've been banking personally and professionally with them for years and years. I wouldn't use any another bank in town. I would completely disregard previous yelper- "learnt" isn't a word! What an idiot!
